Please bring sunscreen, a towel, water, and a positive attitude! We provide the surfboard, wetsuit (if needed), and all other necessary equipment.

Parking, especially on weekends can be a challenge, so allow yourself at least 15 minutes before class to ensure a parking spot

Mornings usually have the best conditions. Afternoons can be fun too, but sometimes the afternoon winds tend to pick up, although this can change throughout the day. We are at the mercy of Mother Nature. We regularly check incoming swells, winds, and tides to determine optimal conditions for your skill level. Our staff will contact you 24 hours before your scheduled lesson if the weather or other conditions are unfavorable.

During summer, the water temp is nice and warm, around 77-81F. Wetsuits are unneccesary at this point. Most of our students wear a bathing suit and rash guard.

Yes and yes! Flagler beach is known for all it's local boutique shops. There are also many delicious restaurants within walking distance. Some of our favorites include Breakaways (they have amazing poke bowls and fish tacos!), and the Funky Pelican on the pier.

Yes, when looking for the best surf in Florida, Flagler beach and Saint Augustine have some of the best surf around. Flagler beach is home to the third best waves for surfing in the entire state.
